The Youth Zone is governed by members of the business community who volunteer their time to support a Senior Management Team, as well as the local authority who together unite to ensure the success of the Youth Zone. Each member of the Board brings their skills and experience to assist Future Youth Zone in achieving its aims and objectives.

Jamie joined OnSide in March 2017 having worked previously with local councils in London delivering major projects and programmes including building new schools, libraries and other community facilities.
Jamie’s role at OnSide is to oversee the delivery of all new Youth Zones in the southern half of the country, developing key relationships with local business leaders, local councils, other public and voluntary sector bodies.
Anne Bristow is Strategic Director for Service Development and Integration and Deputy Chief Executive at the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham where she has worked since November 2006 (previously as the Corporate Director of Adult & Community Services).
Alongside her statutory roles, Anne has responsibility for developing partnerships with NHS colleagues and neighbouring councils to take forward the health integration agenda seeking to develop closer partnerships and new ways of working .
Flavia Jokic has been Managing Director of Fresh Wharf Estates Ltd for nearly six years. She feels privileged to be involved with the estate which has been in the same family ownership for nearly three centuries. With the support of executive directors and advisers, she recently concluded a contract with a national house builder that will transform half of the industrial site in to an ambitious new residential scheme for Barking. Over 900 homes and new public space will be delivered in a regeneration area close to Barking town centre.
As a legacy to the borough, the board of directors voted to support the Youth Zone with a commitment to being founder patrons of the project.
