Marketing and Communications Manager

Do you want to use your skills and background in communications to positivity change the lives of young people? Will you be passionate, creative and committed to supporting a new and growing charity? We are looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager to raise the profile of Future Youth Zone amongst key stakeholders in the region through the development and implementation of a comprehensive communications and marketing strategy. You will be responsible for developing, managing and maintaining all communications and marketing activities within the Youth Zone to enhance visibility, build support and increase our effectiveness.

Mental Health Lead

Up to £15,000

13.5 hours per week

You will be Place2Be’s project lead working at Future Youth Zone! You will be a skilled clinician working therapeutically within Future, able to demonstrate your experience, using evidence-based interventions and ready to deliver a ‘Place2Be approach’ to mental health for children and young people.  You will work closely in conjunction with Place2Be’s Senior Clinical Consultant, to facilitate a culture supporting the development of a ‘holistic approach’ and will put in place systems and services to both promote positive child and youth-centred mental health as well as identifying any mental health issues and interventions before it becomes deeply entrenched.  You will be passionate about young people and create a safe environment for young people to express their thoughts and feelings.

Fundraising Development Manager

Up to £40,000

A truly unique opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and experienced fundraiser to continue the fantastic work that has already began on a major donor fundraising campaign, to work alongside a highly experienced Major Donor Fundraiser and to seek broader income generation opportunities from a variety of fundraising sources – all to fund the core activities of the Youth Zone and ensure an exciting and prosperous future for the young people of Barking and Dagenham.

We are looking for experienced Youth Workers to help support our Holiday Club offer. Delivery of exceptional youth work will be 100% of your job role. Future Youth Zone will run Junior holiday club sessions on every day of most school holidays from 8am to 6pm.  Fixed term contracts will be available and generally we will ask you to commit to 1 week as a minimum.
