On one of the hottest days of the year, our Futuristics brought the energy, resilience, and talent that define our young people as they took part in the Impact Dance UK’s RE:DANCE Showcase near London Bridge.
With the river glistening under the sun and Tower Bridge standing proudly in the background, 35 dance groups from across the country came together to celebrate the power of youth dance. It was a long day, but the excitement and determination in the air was unmistakable.
When it was finally our turn, Futuristics stepped onto the stage with confidence. The music hit, and so did they – each move sharp, each formation strong, each face alive with passion. The audience was clapping, cheering, and supported them through every step.
To see our young people perform with such passion and professionalism in front of a big London audience was something special. They represented themselves and Future Youth Zone with pride, showing what young people can achieve when they are supported to express themselves creatively.
