This summer at Future Youth Zone was one to remember. Across four action-packed weeks, a total of 2,184 young people walked through our doors to take part in a Holiday Club filled with creativity, energy, and community spirit. From the outdoor football pitch to the dance studio, kitchen to art room, every corner of the Youth Zone was buzzing with activity.
A Summer of Sport, Creativity, and Performance
We set out to make this summer unforgettable and judging by the laughter, cheers, and applause, we certainly delivered. Some of the highlights included:
⚽ Girls’ Football: Inspiring the next generation of players with fun, skill-building sessions that celebrated teamwork and confidence.
🍳 Cooking Challenges: Young chefs battled it out in the kitchen, creating delicious dishes and learning new life skills along the way.
💃 Dance Performances & Battles: From beginners to budding stars, our dance spaces came alive with talent, energy, and friendly competition.
🎨 Clay Making Workshops: Creativity took centre stage as young people sculpted, shaped, and designed unique pieces to take home.
💦 Water Fight Madness: High-energy water fights that got everyone cooled down, laughing, and testing their reflexes.
🎉 And so much more! With daily activities across sports, arts, music, and wellbeing, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
A Place to Belong
Beyond the activities, what made this summer so special was the sense of belonging and friendship. For many, Future Youth Zone is more than just a building – it’s a safe space to be themselves, try new things, and build memories with peers and staff.
